Our "Red Dirt Shirt" are created on the island of Kauai, the most beautiful of all the Hawaiian Islands, is guaranteed to be a most appreciated gift or your own favorite shirt. Our "Red Dirt Shirts" are hand dyed with Kauai's World Famous Hawaiian Red Dirt. Kauai Red Dirt is especially known for it's long lasting properties. Each shirt is slightly different and reflects the personality of the dyer. To each shirt, which has the feel of velvet and the color of fine cognac, a Hawaiian block print is added using the colors of the original Tapa designs. Like a good pair of "jeans" the shirt will eventually fade to a beautiful buckskin looking "Kama`aina" chamois color.

Anyone who has lived in or been to Hawaii will never forget the Red Dirt hills and the trade winds that blow this fine powder everywhere staining everything, from cars to houses to clothes.
